14 doctors and 43 representatives of the middle medical level. The staff of the Polotsk Central City Hospital met the young replenishment

57 young specialists started working at the Polotsk Central City Hospital, including 14 doctors, 43 representatives of the middle medical level. 6 doctors were sent to the institution for internship.

Young specialists on the first working day were greeted by the chief physician of the institution Pavel Borovik, his deputies, the chief nurse Natalia Korolkova, as well as the chairman of the trade union committee Svetlana Braufer.

Mentors were assigned to each young specialist in hospitals, clinics and other medical institutions. These are the most experienced members of the teams, who help not only to get used to the profession, but also to adapt to the workplace. They provide methodological assistance, and most importantly, by their example, motivate novice doctors to professional improvement.

"You have a lot of tasks ahead of you, you need to study, master, understand, at the same time, the demand from you is the same as from your colleagues with experience. There is no need to be afraid, we have a lot of work ahead of us. I hope that together we will walk this path with dignity. D.I. Mendeleev has the words: "The higher you rise, the farther the horizon." I wish you to achieve success professionally, so that the horizon is constantly being pushed back," Pavel Borovik addressed the youth.

— As a rule, we assign a mentor to a young specialist for six months, in some cases up to a year. We are interested in our young colleague, under the strict guidance of an experienced doctor, to be able to fully apply the knowledge and skills gained at universities and colleges, to master the capabilities of modern medical equipment. It is important that he does not get disappointed in the profession, gets acquainted with the traditions of the team, and supports the corporate culture," said Alexey Aniskovich, Deputy Chief Physician for Medical Affairs.

For some "recruits", the first place of work will be a FAP in the district. Oleg Borisov, Deputy Chief Physician, spoke about the advantages of working in the countryside: "Today, all FAPs have been renovated, the Internet has been installed, all conditions have been created, a system of compensatory and incentive payments for employees has been thought out. The main task of specialists is the well-being and health of the rural population."

Young specialists learned how their salaries will be formed. This was informed by the head of the planning and economic department Irina Kandratskaya. In turn, Svetlana Braufer, chairman of the trade union committee, spoke about the areas of work of the primary trade union organization and focused on the bonuses that are spelled out in the collective agreement.

Young doctors in the region have ample opportunities to expand their knowledge and improve their skills - courses, internships, scientific and practical conferences. Career prospects are open to active and capable specialists.
