A visiting presidium of the Council of the Vitebsk Regional Trade Union Association was held in Miory

A symbolic memorial sign – a German helmet pierced by a Russian bayonet, and from below the inscription – "Whoever comes to us with a sword will die by the sword", made by Vladimir Poluyanchik, became the answer to those terrible events. This composition was handed over by the chairman of the regional trade union association Yuri Derkach to the history teacher, the head of the school club "Torch" Maxim Filipovich. The memorial sign will take its rightful place in the exposition of the historical museum of the educational institution. Yuri Nikolaevich expressed gratitude for the patriotic education of young people to Maxim Yurievich and presented him with gratitude from the regional union of trade unions.

The participants of the presidium laid flowers near the memorial sign to the soldiers-liberators from the Nazi invaders. Together with the management of the Ior, we got acquainted with the changes that have recently affected the district center. We visited the Church of the Ascension of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The meeting of the Presidium was held on the basis of LLC "Metal Rolling Company". Yuri Derkach, the chairmen of district and city trade union associations got acquainted with the activities of the enterprise, the largest manufacturer of tinplate in the CIS countries.
