For the first time in Vitebsk the regional conference “Youth chooses YID!” was held.

The Media Center of the Vitebsk Region hosted the conference “Youth Choose UID!”, which is aimed at popularizing the movement of young traffic inspectors among students of educational institutions.

It is no coincidence that the event took place today, because March 6 marks the Day of the creation of units of young traffic inspectors. Young traffic inspectors from different parts of the northern region participated in the event both online and offline.

The speakers were the head of the traffic police department of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the regional executive committee, police colonel Mikhail Dyadichkin, the deputy head of the main department for education of the regional executive committee, Marina Babashinskaya, and the head of the agitation and propaganda department of the traffic police department of the Vitebsk regional executive committee, police captain Nadezhda Kasperovich.

The conference participants summed up the activities of the units in 2023, determined the vector of activity for the coming year, and also tested their knowledge in a holiday quiz.

As part of the event, the leaders of teams of young traffic inspectors who distinguished themselves in 2023 were also awarded. At the end of the conference, the head of the YID “Wheel” detachment of the Liozny secondary school No. 1 named after. M. Oktyabrskaya Olga Vecherskaya spoke about her work experience and the secret of success of her students, who for the fourth year in a row became the winners of the republican rally-competition of the UID.
